The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducts raids on the residence of Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki in Kanpur, amidst escalating legal woes faced by him. With the police force in substantial attendance, the raid follows concerns over the court's impending verdict in various cases lodged against Solanki, including charges of arson, fraud, and involvement under the Gangster Act. Additionally, there looms the threat of potential expulsion from the Assembly if found guilty, further complicating Solanki's predicament.

Simultaneously, ED teams extend their scrutiny to the residences of SP leader Noori Shaukat and prominent Kanpur builder Haji Wasi. Shaukat, like Solanki, is embroiled in the controversy surrounding fake Aadhaar cards, while Wasi faces allegations related to the Kanpur violence and his directorial role in Hamraj Construction. Notably, Solanki's wife, Naseem Solanki, holds a directorial position in Hamraj Construction, raising suspicions of financial irregularities within the company.
